About Us

Background
Our story starts way back...
Poverty, access to health care services and education are major development problems in Africa, particularly in Nigeria. Health is a major component of a nation’s socio-economic development. Good health does not only contribute to better quality of life but is also essential for a virile labour force for the creation and maintenance of a nation’s wealth. In Nigeria, about 10.5 million children are not in school even though primary education is officially free and compulsory.
Records from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) have also shown that 40 percent of the Nigerian population, or almost 83 million people, live below the country’s poverty line of 137,430 naira ($381.75) per year. This explains one of the reasons why Nigeria has faced problems on lack of access to health care and education, human trafficking, gender-based violence, etc. particularly among infants and children who have been denied access to formal education, good health care, and social life.
Having identified these problems and knowing full well that the roles of children in economic development cannot be over emphasized, it is imperative to give children the best treatments they deserve. CARE VILLE FOUNDATION (CVF) hopes to make a long-lasting change through philanthropy.

Although there have been several interventions, these supportive efforts seem not to reach the target audience. The education deprivation in Nigeria is driven by various factors, including economic barriers and socio-cultural norms and practices that discourage attendance in formal education, especially for the girl child. Others who have little access to education find it difficult to afford basic equipment needed for a good and healthy lifestyle, while other great minds have been neglected because of their poor backgrounds.
Having identified these problems and knowing full well that the roles of children in economic development cannot be over emphasized, it is imperative to give children the best treatments they deserve. CARE VILLE FOUNDATION (CVF) hopes to make a long-lasting change through philanthropy.
About Us
How our journey started...
CVF is a nonprofit philanthropy organization that aims to provide all-round haleness, particularly for the less privileged and people who cannot afford certain standards of living, care, and education, by focusing on three core areas – health, education, and social life. A large aspect of our work is focused on empowerment and career mentorship for the upcoming generation by imparting knowledge that will inform, prepare, and guide their paths towards being successful individuals and making decisions that will shape their adult career lives. We aim to reach out to the less privileged through advocacy visits, outreaches, social media engagements, empowerments, amongst others to educational and health institutions, management authorities of orphanages, special schools, etc.
